The Porlex Tall II is a premium hand grinder designed for coffee lovers who want consistency, durability and portability in one reliable grinder. Made in Japan, this upgraded model features a newly designed ceramic burr set that grinds faster, easier and more evenly than the original Porlex I.

With improved grind consistency, the Porlex Tall II produces fewer fines and boulders, helping you achieve a cleaner, more balanced cup. Each click adjustment changes the grind size by approximately 37 microns, giving you greater control when dialling in your recipe for AeroPress, Hario V60, pour-over and other manual brewing methods.

Its slim stainless steel body is durable, lightweight and easy to travel with, while the larger 38g capacity makes it a great option for brewing multiple cups at a time. The ceramic burrs will not absorb water, smells or rust, making the grinder easy to maintain and built to last.

Coffee FAQ

Why is the roast date printed on the back of the bag?

We print the roast date on every bag so you know exactly when your coffee was roasted. Freshness is key to great flavor—our beans are usually at their best between 7–30 days after roasting. This gives the coffee time to “rest” and allows the flavors to fully develop.

How long will my coffee stay fresh?

Once opened, we recommend consuming your beans within 4–6 weeks. To keep them at their best, store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and always reseal the bag tightly or place them in an airtight container.

Do you use a “best before” date?

Instead of a “best before” date, we focus on the roast date. Coffee doesn’t “go bad” like milk, but it will gradually lose flavor and aroma over time. Knowing the roast date lets you decide how fresh you want your brew.

How should I store my coffee?
  • Keep it in the original resealable bag or an airtight container.
  • Store in a cool, dark place—like a pantry, not the fridge.
  • Avoid moisture, heat, and strong odors, as coffee easily absorbs them.
Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes! You can subscribe to have fresh coffee delivered to your door on a schedule that suits you. Subscriptions mean you’ll never run out of your favorite beans.

Can I trace where my coffee comes from?

Absolutely. We source our beans directly from farmers and cooperatives whenever possible. Each bag lists the origin, variety, and processing method so you know exactly where your coffee comes from.
