The Brewista Smart Scale II has been developed with the barista in mind, featuring 6 easy to use modes.  It is perfect for both espresso and pour-over brewing methods....and it now comes with a rechargeable battery!

Excellent for cafe and home use, enabling you to weigh your coffee and water down to a tenth of a gram. With a built-in timer, you won’t have to break your attention from your coffee brewing area.

The entire scale is constructed with a nano-coat technology that is water-resistant. Keep the scale on an espresso drip tray without fear of drowning it. Even if it’s wet, the rubberized coating is easy to grip.

The scales come with six brewing modes, each featuring settings that make espresso and pour-over brewing more efficient and hands-off.

Auto 1: Full-auto espresso mode. When a cup is placed on the scale, the weight is tared and the timer begins to count up automatically.

Auto 2: Semi-auto espresso mode. When a cup is placed on the scale, the weight is tared but the timer must be started manually. When a cup is removed, time and weight return to zero.

Auto 3: Alternative semi-auto espresso mode. When a cup is placed on the scale, the weight is tared.

Auto 4: Alternative full-auto espresso mode. When a cup is placed on the scale, the weight is tared. When the scale detects the first drops of espresso, the timer begins automatically,

Hand 1: Auto pour over mode. When the brewing vessel is placed on the scale, the weight is tared. When coffee grounds are added, the weight is tared after 3 seconds.

Hand 2: Manual pour over mode. You start the timer and tare the scale when necessary.

Coffee FAQ

Why is the roast date printed on the back of the bag?

We print the roast date on every bag so you know exactly when your coffee was roasted. Freshness is key to great flavor—our beans are usually at their best between 7–30 days after roasting. This gives the coffee time to “rest” and allows the flavors to fully develop.

How long will my coffee stay fresh?

Once opened, we recommend consuming your beans within 4–6 weeks. To keep them at their best, store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and always reseal the bag tightly or place them in an airtight container.

Do you use a “best before” date?

Instead of a “best before” date, we focus on the roast date. Coffee doesn’t “go bad” like milk, but it will gradually lose flavor and aroma over time. Knowing the roast date lets you decide how fresh you want your brew.

How should I store my coffee?
  • Keep it in the original resealable bag or an airtight container.
  • Store in a cool, dark place—like a pantry, not the fridge.
  • Avoid moisture, heat, and strong odors, as coffee easily absorbs them.
Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes! You can subscribe to have fresh coffee delivered to your door on a schedule that suits you. Subscriptions mean you’ll never run out of your favorite beans.

Can I trace where my coffee comes from?

Absolutely. We source our beans directly from farmers and cooperatives whenever possible. Each bag lists the origin, variety, and processing method so you know exactly where your coffee comes from.
