Designed for speed, accuracy and consistency, the Acaia Lunar 2021 is a premium espresso scale built to perform in demanding home and commercial environments.
Compact enough to fit beneath most espresso machines, the Lunar provides fast and responsive measurements to help improve workflow and achieve greater consistency with every extraction. The updated 2021 model features a built-in flow-rate indicator, improved battery life, USB-C charging and customisable espresso workflow settings.
The real-time flow-rate indicator allows you to monitor how quickly espresso is entering the cup, helping you identify changes throughout the extraction and make more informed adjustments to your grind, dose and yield.
With Bluetooth connectivity, the Lunar can also connect to Acaia brewing apps and compatible third-party devices, allowing you to record recipes, review brewing data and further customise your workflow.

Coffee FAQ
Why is the roast date printed on the back of the bag?
We print the roast date on every bag so you know exactly when your coffee was roasted. Freshness is key to great flavor—our beans are usually at their best between 7–30 days after roasting. This gives the coffee time to “rest” and allows the flavors to fully develop.
How long will my coffee stay fresh?
Once opened, we recommend consuming your beans within 4–6 weeks. To keep them at their best, store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and always reseal the bag tightly or place them in an airtight container.
Do you use a “best before” date?
Instead of a “best before” date, we focus on the roast date. Coffee doesn’t “go bad” like milk, but it will gradually lose flavor and aroma over time. Knowing the roast date lets you decide how fresh you want your brew.
How should I store my coffee?
- Keep it in the original resealable bag or an airtight container.
- Store in a cool, dark place—like a pantry, not the fridge.
- Avoid moisture, heat, and strong odors, as coffee easily absorbs them.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes! You can subscribe to have fresh coffee delivered to your door on a schedule that suits you. Subscriptions mean you’ll never run out of your favorite beans.
Can I trace where my coffee comes from?
Absolutely. We source our beans directly from farmers and cooperatives whenever possible. Each bag lists the origin, variety, and processing method so you know exactly where your coffee comes from.
