The Navarro Ceciliano family have a long history in coffee, being involved in the industry for more than 100 years. With farms located between 1350 and 1900 masl, this allows the family to produce coffee in different microclimates within the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica.
Experts rate Costa Rican coffee extremely highly, as Costa Rica is blessed with near perfect conditions for growing top-grade beans, including a consistent temperature year-round.
The cherries of this coffee are picked when ripened. Any impurities are eliminated and they are taken to drying beds, where the pulp and mucilage generate the beans exceptional flavour. The average process time in the drying beds is fifteen days.
This coffee features winey fruity notes with subtle hints of plum and honey. A smooth and delicious coffee for sure.
